Micro-Heat Desiccant Air Dryers These innovative Micro-Heat Desiccant Air Dryers share a similar operational philosophy with the traditional Heatless Air Dryers, but with a transformative twist. In this advanced system, compressed dried air is channeled through an ultra-efficient external heater before entering the offline (B) Tower for the critical task of desiccant regeneration. The heated air, with its enhanced moisture-holding capacity, significantly diminishes the volume of dry compressed air required for regeneration. While the inclusion of heater components involves a higher initial capital outlay, the reduced demand for diverted compressed air translates into lower operational expenditures, making it an economically and environmentally wise choice.
The main components of Desiccant Air Dryer are the two robust pressure vessels(Tower A & Tower B). Both vessels are expertly packed with high-performance desiccant material and are alternately switched to ensure continuous operation, optimizing efficiency. During the drying cycle, the compressed air destined for drying is expertly directed through one of these vessels, where moisture is meticulously extracted by the desiccant via theadsorption process,ensuring air purity. Moisture is subsequently purged into the atmosphere through a specialized muffler, after whichthe moisture-laden desiccant in the second vessel is thoroughly refreshed through the regeneration process.Once the desiccant in the active drying vessel is saturated with moisture, the system seamlessly transitions the roles of both vessels, restarting the drying cycle anew, ensuring uninterrupted performance and reliability.
A full operational cycle, comprising adsorption and regeneration phases within a vessel, is termed as a cycle. The duration required for this sophisticated process is known as the cycle time. Typically, a cycle time spans approximately 10 minutes,divided equally into 5 minutes for regeneration and 5 minutes for adsorption, ensuring optimal balance and efficiency.
