Micro-Heat Desiccant Air Dryers These innovative air dryers operate similarly to the Heatless Air Dryer, with an exclusive enhancement. Before entering the off-line (B) Tower, compressed dried air passes through a highly efficient external heater, which plays a pivotal role in regenerating the desiccant. By heating the air, it can carry a significantly higher moisture load, thereby minimizing the amount of dry compressed air required for regeneration. Although the heater components necessitate a larger initial investment, the reduced use of diverted compressed air significantly lowers ongoing operational costs.

The foundational elements of the Desiccant Air Dryer include two robust pressure vessels(Tower A & Tower B). These vessels are abundantly filled with desiccant and operate in an alternating fashion via a seamless switch-over mechanism. During the drying cycle, the compressed air is meticulously channeled through one vessel, where the moisture is extracted with precision by the desiccant (an advanced adsorption process). Prior to releasing the moisture into the atmosphere through a muffler, it is safely held within the desiccant in the secondary vessel, where it undergoes removal through the efficient regeneration process. When the desiccant in the active drying vessel reaches its moisture capacity, the functions of adsorption and regeneration switch between the vessels, restarting the drying process anew.

We define one full sequence of adsorption and regeneration within a vessel as a complete cycle, and the duration required for this is termed as cycle time. Typically, each cycle time spans approximately 10 minutes, with an equal allocation of 5 minutes for regeneration and 5 minutes for adsorption.
