Micro-Heat Desiccant Air Dryers Introducing a transformative approach to air drying—our Micro-Heat Desiccant Air Dryers share similarities with traditional Heatless Air Dryers, yet stand out with a crucial enhancement. Compressed, dried air is passed through an advanced high-efficiency external heater before it enters the off-line (B) Tower to rejuvenate the desiccant. By leveraging heated air's superior moisture-carrying capacity, this innovative process significantly reduces the volume of dry compressed air required for regeneration. While the addition of heater-related components may increase the initial investment, the result is a substantial reduction in operational costs due to decreased reliance on diverted compressed air.
The main components of the Desiccant Air Dryer are the robust and durable two pressure vessels(Tower A & Tower B). Both vessels are expertly filled with high-performance desiccant and operate in an efficient alternating manner via a sophisticated switch-over mechanism. During a drying cycle, the compressed air that requires drying is channeled through one of the vessels, where moisture is meticulously extracted by the desiccant (anexceptionally efficient adsorption process). Prior to being purged into the atmosphere seamlessly through a state-of-the-art muffler,the moisture is temporarily stored within the desiccant in the alternate vessel, where it is then eradicated through a comprehensive regeneration process.Once the desiccant in the active drying vessel reaches full moisture saturation, an automatic switch occurs, exchanging the roles of adsorption and regeneration between the two vessels, and thus initiating a new drying cycle.
Each complete round of adsorption and regeneration in a vessel is known as a cycle, with the duration referred to as cycle time. Typically, this precise cycle time spans approximately 10 minutes, equally divided into 5 minutes for regeneration and 5 minutes for adsorption.
