Micro-Heat Desiccant Air Dryers Micro-Heat Desiccant Air Dryers offer a refined operational process reminiscent of Heatless Air Dryers, with one significant enhancement. Prior to making its way into the offline Tower B, the compressed, dried air is channeled through a state-of-the-art high-efficiency external heater. This heated air, capable of holding significantly more moisture, markedly reduces the quantity of dry compressed air needed for regeneration. Although the addition of heater components might seem like a heftier initial investment, the ultimate benefit lies in the substantial reduction of operating costs due to less diverted compressed air.

The main components of a Desiccant Air Dryer are the two pressure vessels(Tower A & Tower B), each abundantly filled with desiccant, and are alternately operated via a sophisticated switch-over system. During the drying cycle, the compressed air, destined for dryness, courses through one vessel where the desiccant efficiently extracts moisture through theadsorption process). Before the moisture is gently purged into the atmosphere via a muffler,, it is initially stored within the desiccant of the second vessel. This moisture-laden desiccant is then rejuvenated through the regeneration process. When the desiccant in the currently active vessel becomes saturated, the adsorption and regeneration roles are seamlessly switched between the vessels, commencing a new drying process.

We define a complete sequence of adsorption and regeneration within a vessel as a cycle. The duration required for this entire process is termed cycle time. Typically, a cycle spans approximately 10 minutes, neatly divided into 5 minutes for regeneration and another 5 minutes for adsorption.
