Micro-Heat Desiccant Air Dryers Micro-Heat Desiccant Air Dryers operate similarly to traditional Heatless Air Dryers, but with a crucial enhancement. Before reaching the off-line (B) Tower for desiccant regeneration, the compressed dry air is channeled through an advanced high-efficiency external heater. This innovative step allows the heated air to absorb significantly more moisture, thus optimizing the regeneration process by using less dry compressed air. Although this might mean a higher initial investment due to heater-related components, it ensures reduced operating costs in the long run by minimizing diverted air usage.

The main components of the Desiccant Air Dryer include the two robust pressure vessels(Tower A & Tower B). Both vessels are ingeniously packed with desiccant and are alternately operated through a sophisticated switch-over mechanism. During a drying cycle, the compressed air destined for drying passes through one of the vessels, wherethe moisture is meticulously extracted through the adsorption process. Before the moisture is expelled into the atmosphere via a muffler, it is stored in the desiccant of the alternate vessel, which will undergo the regeneration process.Once the desiccant in the active drying vessel becomes saturated, the system smartly switches the adsorption and regeneration roles between the vessels, thereby restarting the drying cycle seamlessly.

A complete sequence of adsorption and regeneration within a vessel is termed as a cycle, with the duration for this process being referred to as cycle time. Typically, a cycle time spans approximately 10 minutes, divided evenly into 5 minutes for regeneration and 5 minutes for adsorption.
